Growing up, I have always admired the incredible women who held the title of Miss College Park, and it is a true honor to be part of this remarkable legacy now.

Being crowned the 32nd winner on September
29th, 2024, was a dream come true. In addition to the title, I was thrilled to receive the Top Scholar Award, recognizing my dedication to academics. As part of this exciting achievement, I was awarded a $2,000 cash scholarship, my first ever beautiful designer purse, beautiful jewelry, and a fantastic photoshoot.

I want to take this time to thank the Sponsors of the  Miss College Park competition, including the City of College Park, and all of the Council members who include me in many activities in the City and make me feel like I am a true asset to the community. Additionally, I would also like to thank  Commander Jerry Pena and the John B. Latimer Post 217 and Unit 217, also sponsors for welcoming me as a brand-new member!

I am the FIRST Miss College Park to become a member of the College Park Unit  217, and what makes this honor even more special is that my Grandfather was a Veteran.

Since being crowned, I’ve had the privilege of making several appearances to include:

College Park Day – October 5th, 2024 and
Helping with the Latin Dance Competition

American Legion Halloween Party – October 27th, 2024
Friday Night Live at the City Hall Plaza – November 8th, 2024
Celebration of the Completion of Phase One of the US 1 Baltimore Ave College Park Improvement Project – November 9th, 2024
Veterans Memorial at Baltimore Avenue and Greenbelt Road November 10th, 2024 (Veterans Day)
Veterans Appreciation Event with the Navy Band – November 10th, 2024
Calvert Hills Civic Association Tree Lighting Ceremony – December 1st, 2024
College Park's Winter Wonderland Holiday Market and Tree Lighting – December 7th, 2024

Being part of these events has been an incredible experience, allowing
me to engage with our local leaders and residents. I can’t wait to
continue representing College Park throughout 2025!

Finally, Beyond my role as Miss College Park, I have recently graduated from
the University of Maryland with a degree in Family Science. I am now a student in the UMBC Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, specializing in abdomen extended and OB/GYN. This career path reflects my passion for healthcare and helping others.

I am also actively involved in activities that reflect my other
interests and values:

Baton Twirling: A sport I’ve loved since I was three years old,
inspired by my mother. I’ve participated in various events, including the “Twirler for the Day” at the University of Maryland, to promote this art and sport within our community.
Autism Awareness Advocacy: Inspired by my younger brother, who is on
the autism spectrum, I am dedicated to promoting understanding and
inclusion through volunteering and social media campaigns.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Kabir
Park, John Brown and the  Downtown College Park Merchants Authority for sponsoring the 32nd Miss College Park Competition and ensuring it happens.  Thank you for allowing me to represent this wonderful
city, which has helped me grow into the woman I am today!
